Because great families deserve great friends

We're helping families in East Cobb find real connection—not just playdates. We match you with other families who share your rhythm, values, and favorite local spots, so the kids play and the parents click! This includes matching families with similarly aged children

Download our app and sign up to start building your family's community!

How it works?

  1. Download our mobile app

Answer a few short questions about your family. This includes number and age of your children, your family values and your meetup venue preferences
  2. We find a pod of 3 to 4 families that fits

We’ll match you based on shared values, kids ages, and places your kids can play while you connect.
  3. You meet in good company

Our app places you in a pod. Your pod meets up on Saturday at 2PM. The app will tell you where to meet and give you directions. You can also message your pod directly to ask questions before you meet.
  4. After you meet

If you enjoyed the families you met with you can add them to your community in the app. When you're ready to meet up with another pod any other week just press "find my pod"

Our Story

I moved to the United States from a small town in Ireland after meeting my wife, Leslie. Growing up in Ireland, my family lived in a cul-de-sac with several other families who had children around the same age. We were surrounded by a tight-knit community, and the friendships formed during that time lasted a lifetime—not only for my parents, but for me and my siblings as well.

Since moving to Georgia, I’ve noticed how difficult it can be to build those same kinds of genuine connections in today’s fast-paced world.

But I know we’re not the only ones. There are plenty of families—just like mine—searching for deeper relationships with like-minded people. That’s why I created In Good Company: a platform designed to bring families together based on shared values, interests, and lifestyles.

Whether you’re into beers and BBQs or kayaking and pizza nights, we help families of all backgrounds find their perfect match—so you can build your own modern village.

Welcome to In Good Company. Let’s make connection easier, one family at a time.

How much does it cost to join?

The first 25 families to sign up will be part of our Founding Families Club and receive lifetime access for free as our way of saying thank you for helping us shape this community from the start. Founding families do agree to help us grow the community by providing testimony and images for our website.

What do I get as a member?

You'll receive ongoing matches with like-minded families, personalized local meetup suggestions, and early invitations to events and features. Think of us as your connection concierge.

How are families matched?

We use your survey responses—including values, vibe, location, and parenting rhythms—to connect you with families who share a compatible energy and outlook. No algorithms can guarantee a spark, but we aim for connection, not just proximity.

What if we’re a non-traditional family?

You're in exactly the right place. We intentionally support diverse and non-traditional families who often find it harder to meet like-minded people. Every kind of family is welcome here.

Can we meet more than one family?

Yes! Some families find one deep connection, others enjoy being matched with a few to see who fits best. It’s not about quantity—it’s about fit.

What kind of places do families meet up?

Most matches begin in public places like parks, kid-friendly breweries, or coffee shops with play areas. We focus on relaxed environments where parents and kids can connect comfortably.

Is this safe?

Absolutely. We only match verified families who have completed our intake survey. You’ll never be automatically introduced without opting in, and you choose how and when you meet another family.

Do we need to host people at our house?

Nope. Most families meet in public spaces. If a home hangout happens, it’s only if both families feel comfortable and opt in.

How often will we get matched?

In the beginning, we match families thoughtfully—typically every few weeks. As the network grows, you may have more options. We prioritize quality over speed.
